Organisation:
Set up as shown.
Numbers of players between 10-16. (or work 1 side at a time).
Lots of balls.
Instructions:
Blue team play 4 v 2 (or 5 v 2) aganist Yellow team in square A.
After 5 passes they pass or dribble out of the square and pass to their forward player.
Play out the move 2v1.
Once this move ends then the ball is served by the Coach to square B and Yellow team play against Blue.
If defender wins the ball once player exits the square then the play stops.
Coaching Points:
Speed of play.
Quality of pass.
Ability to penetrate with pass.
Awareness of forward on the 5th pass.
Movement off the ball and end product.

Organisation:
Same as previous screen
Instructions:
Same as previous screen but once the Blue player exits the square (with a dribble or pass) a Blue and a Yellow player from square B can also join in to create a 3v2 situation.
Coaching Points:
Same as previous screen but speed of play becomes more important now with a 2nd defender recovering to defend.
Progressions:
Time limit of 10 seconds to score once exiting the square.

Organization:
Same set up as previous two screens but put an additional player in the central midfield area.
Instructions:
On the 5th pass the ball must be played to the central midfield player for that team.
A Blue player from square B releases himself and the central midfield player plays a diagonal pass into the path of that player.
The player that played the pass from square A also joins in the attack to make a 3 v 1 situation.
A defender from any square can also recover to defend.(3v2)
The CM can also join in the attack as a number 10 or make an overlapping run.
Coaching Points:
CM supporting run dictated by movements ahead of him.
Same points as previous two screens but communication is very important for the defending team.
Progressions:
Time limit on play of 10 seconds to score.

Pitch size to suit your players.
Allow both teams to choose their formation.
Set a challenge to create overloads to create chances.
How to Play
Regular game with offsides.
Play for a set period of time (8-10 minutes).
Get players to evaluate and adjust (formation/tactics).
Play again and re-evaluate success/failure and reasons why.
