Passing in 3's. 1 worker in the middle. Start by receiving straight on to ball & setting back to support player then spinning away to support opposite side. Progress to opening up and receiving on back foot. Work both sides to practice on both feet. Race to put under pressure
Instruction points:
- prepare feet to receive (on balls of feet, heel down/toe up with big part of foot)
- when setting ball back, don't swing your foot. It's a little punch taking speed out of ball
- point passing foot briefly at target (back foot of receiving player)
- open up early and check shoulders
- no bouncing/spinning passes
