Passing (10 mins)

Organization: Cones as shown mirrored on either half of the field.

Duration: 10 minutes prior to game

Instructions:

Warm up U5/6- Set cones up 3 in the middle. Show all the players how to do toe taps and tic tocs. Line up players. Player does 5 toe taps then dribbles around the cones and finishes on goal. Retrieve the ball and return to the line. Repeat 3 times, then progress to 5 tic tocs.

Warm up 7/8- Same as above with a keeper.

Toe Taps -The player starts by doing the "soccer pose" and then switches feet. As they get comfortable they can speed up switching feet to the ball.

Tic Tocs - the player taps the ball back and forth between their feet (using the inside of the foot), try to reamin in one spot while doing it.
