Time: 30 Minutes
Set Up:
- 2 grids of 40x30.
-Split players into teams with 2 CB, MC, 10, CF with 2 common wingers (yellow).
-CF and wingers start outside the grids.
Exercise:
-Red Cf plays pass free to blue CB.
-Blue then try to get ball to their CF.
-If red win ball they do same.
-Initially wingers stay on outside as well as CF's with defenders only able to block passes and not tackle.
-Play 10 minutes then allow more free play where wingers can rotate in and out of grid as well as CF.
-Also allow 10 and wingers to move into CF position if CF rotates out of the grid. There must always be someone in the CF position.
-Defenders can challenge on the outside now also but only if wide player has the ball on the outside.
-Play another 10 to 15 minutes.
Key Points:
-Rotation of movement.
-Making angles for passes.
-Playing finishing scoring passes.

Time: 30 Minutes
Set Up:
-Width of 3G pitch appro ssame size as Cardiff.
-Split players into their squads for Saturday playing with 2 defenders, 1 centre mid, 2 wing backs, 10 and a CF.
Exercise:
-Play game of 8v8 linked to PC tournament format.
-Swap spare players every ten minutes.

-Understanding of formation of play and how they link up.

Set Up:
-35x25 pitch (if space allowed)
-Split players into teams of 5.
-If more than 5 then use them as common players as required.
Exercise:
-Play three spells of games.
-1st spell 2 touch football
-2nd spell no touch no touch limit but must shoot on or before 5 passes made.
-3rd spell no restrictions

-Ensure tempo is high.

Exercise 1: Multi Directional Passing Drill (15 mins)
Time: 15 Minutes
Set Up:
-Diamond Grid with 4 stations 20x20
-Set Up 3 to 4 grids.
-Split players evenly on the grids.
Exercise:
-Players play passes in number order.
-When ball gets to 4 play pass back to 1.
-Players follow pass.
-Play this sequence for 3 minutes.
-Change sequence to 1-4-2-3-1 3 more minutes
-Change sequence to 1-2-1-3-1-4 (movement to next rotates anrti clockwise as opposed to follow pass and 1 only moves after final pass to 4) sequence back then is 4-3-4-2-4-1.
-Play another 3 minutes.
