Warm Up (20 mins)

Set Up

4 - 5 lines, 20 yards long. Cones are 5 yards apart.

Rules and Conditions

Prevent Injury and Enhance Performance (PEP) Routine

- Motor Skills: Forward, Backwards, Sideways

- Dynamic Stretches: Main lower body muscle groups

- Strength: Lower Body Strength exercises

- Plyometrics: 2 leg jumps, 1 leg jumps

Skill (25 mins)

Set Up

20x20 yards. Small Goals on adjacent sides. Cone to mark scoring zone which is 7 yards from goal (blue line).

Rules and Conditions

1v1. Player dribbles ball in and has to score in goal opposite. Defender breaks out and has to try and win ball and score in goal opposite. Team with player that wins the 1v1 gets to start with the ball. Losing player defends. Attacker wins if they score, defender wins if they force ball out or score in transition.

Play 1v2 (Overload in attackers favor).

Conditioned Game 2 (25 mins)

Set Up

36x40 yard fields. 3 Fields

Rules and Conditions

Play Directional. 3 Teams per field. Winner stays on. Teams to try and score in the goal opposite the one they are defending. Third team spread around the field and play as netral support players. When a team scores, they have to collect the ball from the goal they just scored in and try and score opposite. Losing team has to get off the field quickly and offer support. Support team has to get onto the field to defend straight away
