Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Combination Play
Description
Aims
Looking at creating width in possession and trying to defend as a compact unit whilst out of possession.
In Possession
If the ball is in one of the central two zones, team in possession must have players in each of the 4 zones to create width. If the ball is in one of the wide zones, team in possession must have players in the nearest 3 zones.
Out Of Possession
If the ball is in one of the central two zones, team defending must have all their players in the central two zones. Aiming to defend as a compact unit. If the ball is in one of the wide zones, team defending must have players in the nearest 3 zones.

Yellows are in possession, with the ball out wide. All players must be within the nearest 3 zones for both teams.
