Organisation
Area approx 20 x 40 with a 3 yard channel in the middle.
3 teams.
Good supply of balls.
How to Play
White team must make a minimum of 3 passes before transferring the balll to the Black team (can't be intercepted in the middle zone).
2 Blue players can try to win the ball back but can't enter the end zone until the ball has been touched.
If Blues win the ball, coach feeds a new ball into the opposite end.
Teams play as the defence for 4 minutes each.
Progression
Defending team changes each time they win the ball.
Defending team can intercept in the middle zone.

Pitch set up as shown.
8v8 in a 1-3-2-2 formation.
How to Play
GK must start play with a short pass (inside the red line).
If either team regain the ball in the attacking third and score, that goal counts double.
HOWEVER, they are permitted to play anywhere and if the ball comes out of the attacking third and score it just counts as 1.
Team that scores starts the next play from their GK.
Possible Coaching Points
Focus is on the "attacking" team.
Set traps.
Recognise pressing triggers.
Front 2 stop forward passes.
Midfield go tight and anticipate the next pass.
Defenders push up and squeeze the space
(Try to "quarter" the pitch)!
If Blues regain -
Secure the ball
"How direct can you be?"
Run/pass forward.
Support ahead of the ball.

How to Play
Normal rules.
Any regains in the attacking half trigger an 8-second countdown.
If a shot isn't taken by the time the countdown runs out the opposition are awarded a free-kick.
