12x18. Two teams. Balls on each side.
FIRST DEFEND, THEN ATTACK, THEN LEAVE. As soon as the attack ends, attackers LEAVE, two new teammates enter the field. Defenders turn back to receive a new ball from their team and become the attackers against the two new players.
Coaching points:
- close the space fast
- who presses, who covers?
- drop at an angle to cover
- body shape of pressure (side-on to steer the attacker)

Organization: 25x18 field with 4 small goals (or gates) along the end lines. Extra balls on the end lines. 5v5, if we're short a player then one team plays down a man and starts up 1-0.
Instructions: 4-goal game. All restarts are from the back. 7 minute games. Make losing team do pushups so it's competitive. Run it on two fields, for the second round winning teams play each other.
Coaching points:
- make field compact
- pressure/cover
- quick decisions on winning the ball back:
- - 1st defender: can I go forward? switch? or drop it back to possess?
- - 2nd/3rd defenders: reaction to open up and receive
- - COMMUNICATION

10x15. All players with a ball. Large cone or flag in the middle. Defender dribbles to middle line (1) and shoots (2). As soon as shot is taken attacker enters for 1v1, defender crosses over to defend (3).
Change attackers/defenders after 3 minutes, then switch sides of the field and repeat.
