Drill
- Possession Drill
- Teams look to find players out wide and dribble thru the gates in order to find the target or they look to find a teammate in the middle of the box to try and play thru the middle when the wide areas are blocked
- If a team can successfully find their teammate and dribble thru the gates and find a target they get 2 points
- If they can find a teammate in the middle box and then play out from there and find a target, then they get 1 point
- Once target receives the ball, then they play back to team that gave them the ball

- Switch targets
Progression

- If they can find a player in the box and then play wide and dribble thru wide areas and then find target, they get 3 points
Key Coaching Points
- Body shape when opening up to receive in the wide areas
- Head up to see what's on, do not just play blindly to the outside if it is not on

Organization
- 4 lines of 2 or 3 depending on #s
- Cones to signify starting point
- Mannequins to represent defenders

- Pattern continues, but instead the receiving player opens up the opposite direction
- 30 seconds of work then switch
Progression
- Receiving Player returns the pass back to the starting point after receiving intial pass and then opens up wide to receive, turn and dribble.
- Players complete a 1,2 around the defender and initial passing player goes and dribbles the ball around the flag and then becomes the receiving player
Key Coaching Points

- Inside of the foot first touch
- Speed to get away after receiving the pass
