Organization:
1. 2 areas of 20 x 10

Instructions:
1. Attacking players pass the ball sideways and defenders close down the palyers with the ball.
2. Defending players must pressure and cover the player in possession
3. Defending players do not attempt to win the ball
Coaching Points:
1. Deny penetration
2. Speed and angle of approach should force attacker in one direction
3. Angle and distance of 2nd defender.
4. Ability to change roles quickly and correctly
Progressions:
1. Alow the defenders to win the ball & attackers attcak the endzone.

Organization:
1. 20x30 area.
Instructions:
1. 2 sets of teams
2. Attacking team pass the ball across to teammate and the drill begins
3. 2 players from each team go at a time
4. Attacking team gets a point for scoring.
5. Defenders get a point for winning the ball and a bonus point for scoring
Coaching Points:
1. Communication - loud, early, concise.
2. Speed and angle of approach.
3. Work as a unit.
4. Ability to switch roles quickly.
5. Moments to win the ball - double team or tackle.
6. Transition to attack.
Progressions:
1. Play 3 attackers against 2 defenders

Warm Up (15 mins)
Organization:
1.20 x 20 yard area with 4 areas of 10 x 10 set up as shown
2.Groups of 3 players, with 1 ball per group.
Instructions:
Group makes 2 passes and the 2 players without the ball closes down the player with the ball.
Coaching Points:
1.Speed and angle of approach of 1st defender
2.Angle and distance of 2nd defender
3.Ability to change roles quickly and correctly
