Organization: - two 30x20 areas
- counter endzone, big goal +GK
- attacking team 6/7/8/10/11 in middle area - 9 in attacking area
- defending team 2/3/6/8 in middle area - 4/5 in their defending area
- all others in middle area
Instructions: - attacking needs to win possession, play target 9 and all push into attacking area to score
- defending team play into counter endzone for points
Coaching Points: - quick transition to attacking - up to support for second ball
- exploit the opponent when unbalanced/disorganized - don't wait, 9 anticipates and checks to receive
- keep the ball when you can't play forward - don't just kick it up
- push the defensive line up - easier to counter press
How fast can we break?
Can we play forward before the opposition recovers?
Progressions: - make attacking zone whole width with added attacking 7/11 and defending 2/3
Regressions: - 1v1 in attacking area, only 9 and 4

- three counter targets
Instructions: - 3v3 transition game
- players stay defense after scoring to immediately counter press
- teams stay on unless scored on
- if attackers are scored on counter targets, those targets are on
- if ball goes out on sideline, play restarts from own teams endline
- play to 10 or 5min then switch sides/teams
Coaching Points: - quick transition to attack after possession is won - attack, attack, attack
- give support, push up fast!
- attack goal right away after possession is won
- play forward when you have the ball (how quickly can you score?)
- counter press after possession is losty
Progressions: - 3v2s
Regressions: - 2v1s
