4 v 2/5 v 2/5 v 3 Transitional Rondo
Session is dependant on numbers but the concept of the session remains the same. In the session the attacking team must keep the ball and attempt to move the opposition effectively in order to play a split pass. If they achieve this they can go and attack either goal by breaking out the square. The defenders job is to prevent split passes, be aggressive to try and force errors, win the ball back and try and transition out the square to score.
Progressions:
- Make the game directional. Add a certain number of passes that must be achieved before attacking the goal. Add a goalkeeper.
- Allow defenders to move between boxes to add an element of chaos.
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Progressions:
- Allow restarts from the coach instead to add another element of chaos.- Normal SSG.
