See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization:
See Fig 2. Four pugg nets set up as shown. Same field at 25x30. Change as needed. All balls in a pile with coach. Players in lines at all four corners, one team at both corners at one end and the other team opposite.
Instructions:
Coach feeds the ball into the area, and players play 2v2. Players can score one point by dribbling though a gate in the other team's corners. The corner color does not matter. Once the ball is scored or goes out of bounds, the players rotate. First team to score 7 points wins.
If coaches need to change the activity to non directional, make all pugg goals 3 points.
Coaching Points:
* Eyes up play, where is your teammate and what are defenders showing you?
* Look to recognize and create 1v1 situations
* Movement off the ball to help teammate
* Passing to space or feet? Visual cues of the game
Progressions:
P1: Coach plays a additional ball into the area for players to play (coach to recognize 1v1 situations and communcation)
P2: Teams still score a point by dribbling through the gates, but can score 3 points by scoring in the puggs. First team to 12 points wins.
P3: One team must defend Pugg goals north and south (grey) while the other team must defend east and west goals (yellow)
