6 cones, 3 lines, 1 passing player, 1 receiving player, 1 defender, 1 target player
Instructions:
Passing player plays into receiving player who turns with 1st touch around defender, after turn defender becomes attacker and attacker defends. The targer player then combines with middle player (who started as defender) and moves back to start.
Rotation is: Passing player becomes defender, defender becomes attacker, attacker becomes target and target becomes passing player.
Coaching Points:
1. Use arms to feel
2. Side body shape
3. check shoulder as ball is passed
4. Receive on front foot
5. Quick transition
6. Quality of combination
7. Decision to combine or take the ball themselves
Progressions:
1. Passing player defends against the target player and the middle player (who only has 1 touch)
2. The receiving player can now defend as well up until the middle line
3. The defender can now defend as the ball is passed

2 halfs, 1 vs 1 with 2 neutral players
Instructions:
1 vs 1 game with the attacking player having a neutral player in the defending half.

1. Looking to check shoulder as ball is passed

3. Looking to go forward and not back (can you face player up or roll them?)
