Aim: To introduce and coach a first time shot to the cliental group.
Objective 1) To demonstrate and Drip feed information to clients

Equipment: 15 size 5 footballs, 20 red cones, 2x 9 aside goals, 12 bibs (4 green bibs, 4 red bibs, 4 yellow bibs)

Organizational / Instructions
Groups of 4 or 6
1 Will take the role of a central midfielder making a pass to 2 who will take the role of a right winger. 2 will then play a pass in to the middle of the park to 3 who is the striker. He will then hit a first time shot with the laces of their boot, this is to create a powerful shot.
After this 1 will take 2s place, 2 will take 3s place and 3 will go back to the start.
Coaching Points
Body position is key before striking the ball.
Use the laces of your foot to generate more power.
Head over the ball, don't lean back as you may hit it over the ball.
Don't be static keep moving.
Progressions / Adaptations
number 2 will switch from the right side of the pitch to the left side to allow players to get used to striking the ball with both feet.
After 3 has shot they will go in goals to challenge the striker to beat the keeper.

1 passes the ball to 2, 2 will then play a pass to 3, 3 will try step off the defender and receive the ball on his back foot, 23 will then lay the ball off to 4 who needs to make a darting run in to the middle of the box and hit the ball first time.
Coaching Points
Strike the ball with the laces of your boot with your body over the ball to ensure you don't hit it over the bar.
Timing of the run is key to set yourself up for the shot.
Communication is key for the striker when receiving the ball off of the player that's going to lay them off.
Progressions / Adaptations
introduce a passive defender to put pressure on the striker
switch sides to test both feet.

Teams will play a 1 3 1, with a keeper in the goals. the condition for the game is that if you score a first time shot you get 2x goals.

players will be doing first time passes and then start running/jogging.
looking for players to get confident with hitting the ball first time and getting the technique right for this.
once the coach blows the whistle, they will break in to a dynamic stretch. Talking about which muscles will be stretched.
The whistle will get blown again and this is the trigger to go back to passing the ball first time.
Coaching Points
Talk about Isaac newtons third law for how hard they hit the ball.
Try visualise what they will do next with the ball.
keep your eyes up and look at what scenario you are in.
use the side of your foot for accuracy.
