Organization:
1. The lonely chain (initial tagger) has no friends and has to try and tag other chains to m ake one big chain
2. The other chains have to run away from the lonely chain so they don’t becom e part of the big one
3. Once tagged, the single chain has to join the big chain
Coaching Points:
1. Use changes of speed and direction to get away from the chain
2. Don’t get trapped in a corner
Progressions:
1. P – The chain has to split into different chains every three links

Organization:
1. All the doctors (players) have to learn the new body parts whilst driving their ambulance (ball)
2. The doctors have to drive around the area until the coach calls out a body part
3. Doctors then have to drive to a hospital (cone) and put that body part on the hospital
4. Each time the coach calls out a different body part
Coaching Points:
1. Keep your ambulance close to you
2. Watch out for other ambulances

1. P – Coach makes more complicated combinations of body parts

Organization:
1. Coach starts off the activity by getting the player to w ave at their shadow on the floor, and then by challenging the
players to loose their shadow by running around in different directions and at different speeds
2. Coach then puts the players in pairs, w ith one being the shadow and the other being the player attem pting to lose
their shadow
3. The shadow has 30 seconds to stay in touching distance of the runner before the coach yells “FREEZE”
4. The shadow then turns to face their partner w ho m ust attem pt to pass their ball through the their partners legs
5. Players then rotate roles
Coaching Points:
1. U se different m ovem ents and speeds to get aw ay from the shadow
2. Try to keep your eye on the runner so you know w here they are going
Progressions:
1. P – The shadow now has no ball
2. R – Each player starts w ithout a ball

Organization:
1. Each driver’s (player) car (ball) is parked in one of the four parking garages
2. W hen the coach yells “clockw ise” all the cars have to be driven in a clockw ise direction to the new parking
garage
3. W hen the coach yell’s “counter-clockwise” all the cars have to be driven in a counter-clockw ise direction to the
new parking garage
4. When coach yells “Criss Cross” all cars must be driven to the opposite corner
Coaching Points:
1. Drive quickly when there are no cars in front of you
2. Slow down in traffic
3. Keep your car close to you
Progressions:
1. P – The police (coach) try to get the cars w hen they are betw een parking garages
2. P – Add sitting traffic (tall cones) around the area so that cars m ust find new routes

DRIBBLING - MINI KICKS - Cars
Organization:
30x40 yard area.
6x6 yard squares in each corner; each corner is a different city.
Cones/pennies laid out in the center as barriers.
Instructions:
Players all start out in their cars in the same city.
On Coach's command, each player must drive (dribble) their car to the new city.
They must try to avoid hitting any other cars and objects en route to the new city.
Progression:
How fast can you get to the new city?
Try not to get caught by the chase car.
Regression:
Take away barriers.
Competitive:
Can you be the first to the new city?
Can you beat the chase car to the new city?
Coaching Points:
Outside (pinky-toe) for close control.
Laces for fast, longer distance dribbling.
Head up to locate new city.
