CSA B P.8 (25 mins)

Session Topic: Coach forwards "how" to provide "Outlets" quickly, when the team gains possession in the midfield.

Equipment: 8 Red Pinnies, 8 Yellow (white) 10 balls 4 Blue cones for target area, 4 yellow for gates. 1 Full size portable goal

Field Size: 1/2 of a full field.

Set Up: Defending Big goal team is set up with back 4 and 2 MF representing a 4-4-2 and Red in a 3-3 Formation which emulates a 4-3-3 Formation. 1 Target and 2 red players and 2 White players representing wingers for progression. Total amount of players is 8 for each team plus 1 GK, total of 17 players.

Staged Start: White team will start in a "Staged Start" CM will start with pressure on the ball and will look to play a "1-2". Reds will look to win the ball and look to attack the Big net.

Instructions: Red team is looking to attack the big goal and score. How the White team scores: Into Target, back into White team then dribble through a gate on either wing then are allowed to cross the ball into the unopposed area for a cross and finish.

Progression: Introduce Winger and Full backs for each team, Condition in the progression, Only 1 set of players from either side can come in. Both Fullbacks and Wingers can't join in at the same time.
