Set up

Distance between players and the pole in the middle 10m

Organization

One player starts from each end by dribbling towards the pole in the middle make a cruyff turn, passes the ball and slalom through the poles to the opposite end

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):

Add a ball to dribble with though the gates the replace it at the starting position

Challenges, Conditions or Targets:

Defenders are not allowed to stay in one gate, constant movement.

Technical (20 mins)

Set up

30*25, two teams, two players with one ball, gates inside the playing area, 2xnumber of gates>Players

Organization

Players to work in pairs, to score points for their team they need to pass & receive through any gate then dribble to another one.

Receiver has to stand few steps away from the gate to receive and not in between.

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):

Work on passing with the weaker foot
If the ball goes out of the playing area they loose a point
Move on to Reds vs Blues, reds try to score points by passing through the gate on the blue gates while blue team needs to dribble prevent this by dribbling and standing in the gates , DEF cannot defend a gate more than 2''

Quick decision making/Head up/Look at target
Strike ball from center/non kicking foot alongside the ball/Follow Through towards target
On toes/Get in line with the ball/relax on impact

Set up

30*25 ,4 teams, 4 goals on one pitch and 4 gates on another.

Organization

To score in the mini goals and to dribble through the gates.

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):

Swap opponents/pitches each 7'.

Challenges, Conditions or Targets:

If players receives or dribble through the gates in the pitch on the left then score it counts for two.
If player make a skill against the pole then scores it counts for two, if he makes a skill against the pole and against the DEF it counts for 3.
