Organization
• 30 x 40 yard area set up as shown
• 12-14 players
• Players divided into two teams (w/ one neutral)
Instructions
Red plays one direction (EW) to targets, team gets one point for getting from one target to the other. Upon playing into target player, the player who made the pass must replace the target player. The white team, upon graining possession must score in one of the two pugs on the side.
Coaching Points
1) Passing technique
2) movement off the ball, checking shoulder
3) Body position-Open reciving on back foot when appropriate
4) Looking for most dangerous pass, how many defenders can you take out with one pass
Progressions/Regressions
R or P-Targets can play directly to eachother (another player may replace)
R -Both teams have a ball, every player must touch ball, first team to reach 10 switchs wins
P-Must play through neutral player to get a point
P-Passes to bank a point (5 passes then finind a neutral equals five points) play first to 15

Set up-
• Field set us as shown (size based upon ability of players and desired outcomes)
• Balls start at bottom of grid with the coach
• 12 players set up as shown (3v2 in defensive half, 1v2 in attacking half, 1v1 in final third)
Organization/Rules
1) Play starts with the coach playing into the defensive half (3v2). The 4/5, 6 and 8 are trying to find the 7 and 11 wide or the 10 centrally in the other grid
2) if the 7 /11 recieve the ball from the defensive half they cannot pass through the grid but must instead recive in such an angle to directly play into the 10.
3) When the blue find the number 9 they get a point and go back the other way for another point
4) IF the white team wins the ball they connect passes for a point (varies depending upon ability of group)
Coaching Points
TECHNICAL
1) Open body shape
2) Reciving on the back foot
3) Pace, accuracy of passing
TACTICAL
1) Mobility of the 10 in the buildup
2) Connection of the 9 and 10
3) movement/mobility of the 7 and 11 to support the attack
Progression
Add small counter goals for the white team to score on after they complete a certain number of passes: for example if white wins the ball off blue and connects 5 passes they get a point, if they can then score in the pugs they get an additional point OR if white wins the ball in one half they can only score in the pugs on the opposite side

Set up:
-Two Areas defined as shown (25 x 25)
-Players divided into two equal teams-if an odd number extra player will be neutral on one field
-Keep space as small as possible to allow for a challenge and some success
-Soccer balls between the two areas
-Pugs set up as shown
Rules
1) Team with greater numbers scores by completing passes (8 passes is a point)
2) Team playing numbers down score in the pugs or through the gates
3) 2:30 minute games with 45 seconds to rest and change defenders (5 rounds--15 minutes 30 seconds)
