Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): possession into fast attack

both teams try to keep hold of the ball, while the team out of possession try to win the ball back as quickly as possible. The keepers at both ends play on the team in possession of the ball. If the opposing side win the ball the keeper joins that team in possession.  If the ball goes behind the goal a new ball is fed in from the side.

The team in Possession after 2 minutes has a time limit to score a goal, (we used 1 minute in our session). The attacking team can score in either goal with both keepers defending their goal. Both keepers are now on the defending team. If the keeper saves a shot they have 5 seconds to distribute the ball. If the ball goes behind the goal a new ball is fed in to the attacking team.

If the attacking team score they gain a point, If the defending team hold out for the minute no points are given to either team.

If a goal is scored or the time limit for scoring (1 minute) is over the 2 minute possession starts again.

change 1 player on each team into a floating player and both player join the team that is in possession and also join the attacking team after the 2 minutes, attempting to score a goal.
