Shirt/Flag Tag
General Warm-Up (All Groups)
Objective: To develop dribbling skills
Setup: Play in a 20x20 or 30x30 grid. Each player tucks a coloured flag (bib) into the back of their shorts. At least half the flag should be hanging out. Each player has a ball.
Procedure: Players begin dribbling among themselves inside the grid. On the command of the coach the game begins. Players dribble after other players and try to steal their bibs while also keeping their bibs safe from other players. Players should keep a bib tucked into the back of their shorts while holding stolen bibs in their hand as they dribble about. Players should dribble the ball under close control at all times and are not permitted to leave their ball to chase after an opponent.
Scoring: The player who ends up with the most stolen bibs while retaining their own bib wins the game/that round.

Goal Chase
- Depending on the size of the group, the coach sets up 4 to 6 goals around the field and gives the start signal
- The players try to dribble the ball through as many goals as possible within the given time (2 to 3 minutes)
- The players keep track of how many goals they've run through
- The winner can be an individual player, or have a team goal of how many in total each person has to do (Everyone must go through at least 10) to win, or have a team goal where they need to have 50 altogether to win as a group

Team Tag
Minutes: 10 to 15
Players: 12 to 16 (4 equal sized teams)
Objective: To develop dribbling skills
Setup: Use markers to outline an area of 25x40. Have all four teams stand in the field area. Each player with a ball. Designate one team as "IT". Use coloured scrimmage vests to differentiate the teams.
Procedure: Players on the "IT" team chase and attempt to tag players from the other 3 teams. All players, including the chasers must dribble balls as they move within the field area. Players who are "IT" are not permitted to leave their balls when attempting to tag opponents - they must dribble the ball under close control at all times. Any player tagged leaves the field to practice a skill (toe taps etc.) The game ends when all opponents have been eliminated or after 4 minutes, whichever comes first. Play four games, designating a different team as chasers for each game.
Scoring: The team that eliminates all its opponents in the least amount of time wins the competition.

Chaios
Set Up:
4 teams, 1 on each side of the square. On the coaches GO the players must run across the area to the other side. Its the first team to get across to the other side. The players must be aware of the chaios in the middle of the square and try not to bump into other players.
Progressions:
1- Add cones in the middle as other things to avoid
2- Avoid extra points for cross over dribbling
Key points:
1- Where is the space to dribble so we dont bump into other players?
2- what kind of touches are we using to dribble?
3- How can we get there the quickest without traviling in a straight line?

1v1 to a cone/ball goal (15 mins)
1v1 to a cone/ball goal - 10x10 yard trids
Players work in pairs in a 10x10 grid with two balls. Place one ball on top of a disc cone and give the other ball to one player. The attacker can start play anywhere on the perimeter of the grid. The attacker attempts to dribble the ball past the other player, who is the defender, and use her ball to knock the other ball off the cone. Each time she does this, she earns a point. If the defender wins the ball, she must dribble to the perimeter (outside the grid) of the grid and restart play and the roles change. Play for 3 minutes and check scores. It is important that the coach encourage the defender to come out and challenge the attacker and not just wait by the cone.
