Organization: 20 x 30 area, players numbered 1-8 and sequence players in and out in order.
Instruction: Pink pass in from the feeder/target player A1 and combine to get the ball to A2 by passing thru the gate. This is a goal. The 3 black combine to press and force pink to play backwards and sideways and prevent the forward movement. After a goal, work the other direction from A2 to A1.
- If black wins the ball they attack and score in blue gates for a point. Game restarts at A1 (or A2). Play for 5 mins. Then swap teams over.
Coaching Points: close down man on ball, arc run to screen 1 passing option, 2nd defender cover, 3rd defender alert to compactness, triggers for aggressive press - poor touch, position, decision making - aggressive press or patience
Progression 1: When pink plays thru gate, they switch w/ the player who passed to them.

Warm Up - Rondo (15 mins)
Warm-up:
- Running w/ dynamic stretches
- Crazy 8 (5 minutes), jog the straight - sprint the diagonal
- 4 laps
Conditioning:
- Groups of 2: Player 1 does Burpees > Player 2 sprints 40 yards (Repeat 3 times).
- Groups of 2: Player 1 does Mtn Climbers > Player 2 sprints 40 yards (Repeat 3 times).
- Groups of 2: Player 1 does Situps > Player 2 sprints 40 yards (Repeat 3 times).
- Groups of 2: Player 1 does Push-ups > Player 2 sprints 40 yards (Repeat 3 times).
Organization: (Rondo) - 12 x 12 area adjust as needed, 6 v 3 inside, defenders change every time possession is lost. Player that loses possession and the player who played the previous pass go in the middle.
Coaching Points: Keep possession, good first touch, accurate passes, weight of passes, and getting in good passing lanes. Defenders - stay together, don't get split, first player press, second player diagonally behind, anticipation of pass, trigger for aggressive press.
Progression: Players in possession play in a two touch / one touch order.
