Organization:
2 Goals **puggs to be used as goals, or cones as goal makers**
Each player with a ball
2 games set up up depending upon numbers/engagement of players
Instructions:
Each team given a goal to score on
-1st Player from Line A, shoots then immediately becomes GK on opposite goal
-After player A shoots, player B immediately attacks the opposing goal and looks to score
-Every player stays on to play GK 1x after their shot, and return to their line after.
Rounds of 90-120 seconds depending on the numbers/development/physical attributes of players/engagement
Point Structure:
Players get a point for their team for every goal score, and save made
Coaching Points/Questions:
Quick transition mentality to score as quick as you can
Weight/direction of first touch
Head up to assess position of goalkeeper
Technical actions related to ball striking
Regressions/Progressions:
Regression- Have players have to wait until the goalkeeper is set before they can shoot on goal
Regression- Have players not be able to play GK after taking their shot

Organization:
Same grid/goal set up previous screen
2 goalkeepers
Instructions:
Each team chooses a player to play as a GK (this player will switch with each round)
First player in line A shoots, then stays on to defender
After player A shoots, player B immediately attacks the opposing goal
Each player will shoot and defend 1x and then return back to their line
If a defender is able to steal the ball, they can shoot on the goal on the goal that they would normally shoot on.
Coaching Points/Questions:
-Mentality to look to take advantage of the split second timeframe from when the attacker shoots and now becomes the defender
-Weight/Direction of First Touch
-Ability to create space to shoot. If the space is closed down, what can you do to create space?
-Using the defender as a blind spot for the GK
Point Structure:
Attacker scores a goal= 1 pt
GK makes save= 1 pt
Defender blocks shot= 1 pt
Defender steals and scores on opposite goal= 3 pts
Regressions/Progressions:
Regression- Addressing the timing of the defender to not start until the attacker takes a touch out of their feet

Organization:
Same set up in terms of grid/goals
Each line divided into 2 as shown
Instructions:
2 players from Line A enter the area, and 1 player shoots.
The player that shoots the ball becomes the defender, with the other player now becoming the GK.
After the shot from the players in line A, 2 players from Line B attack the 1 defender from Line A.
The sequence is repeated similar to previous activity, and return to their line
Point Structure:
Attacker scores a goal= 1 pt
GK makes save= 1 pt
Defender blocks shot= 1 pt
Defender steals and scores on opposite goal= 3 pts
Coaching Points/Questions:
-Movement to create space for the 2nd attacker. "What can the player that doesn't have the ball do to help the player who is in possession?"
-Looking to capitalize on the 2v1 scenario as quick as possible
Regressions/Progressions:
Progressions- institute offsides line
-Regressions- Each team sets a GK to help minimize confusion during the transition time

Organization:
1. 30 x 20 yard area set up as shown
2 4 neutrals allowed to move on the endlines of the grid
3. 2v2 in middle area, 4 neutrals outside o the grid
Instructions:
1. The activity starts with the GK passing the ball out to their team
2. Both teams are playing with regular rules and are looking to pass to their target players before receiving the ball back to score, if they are able to do this the goal counts as double. Teams can score at any point
3. Target players can move across their lines but not off it
4. If the ball goes out of play, the opposite teams GK restarts the game
5. Games last for set period of time and players rotate. If no GK's available rotate players into goal.
Coaching Points:
-Positive mentality to scoring "Goalscorer Mentality"
-Head up to observe the position of the goalkeeper
2. Selection of Shot Technique based upon pressure/position of goalie and area of field
Progressions:
1. P – Players can shoot without having to play to the target

Introduction (10 mins)

Instructions:
1. 2 boxes 20 yards apart opposiite each other
2. 2 Players in each box
3. Players must strike ball into box opposite
4. Players in box have 3 touches - Player 1 (receiving player) has one touch to receive/lay off, Player 2 sets ball back and Player 1 strikes the ball back
5. Rotate Players
Coaching Points:
Movement to provide angle and depth to

3. Quality of Receiving/set pass to allow for a 1st time driven pass
Progressions:
1. Play a competition between the 2 boxes to see who wins. Team who perform all components (technique, follow thru, quality of 1st touch/receiving) gets a point. 1st box to 5 wins.
