Groups of 3

1 Ball per group

Instructions:

-Players look to strike the ball using a "Curled" Technique to the opposite side, looking to bend around the player standing in the middle.

-Upon striking the ball, player switches with the middle player

Coaching Points:

Inside of the Foot

-Ball out of feet

-Approach ball at an angle

-Toe pointed up

-Kicking Motion Goes Across the ball

-Follow through is away from body in order to bend the ball

3 groups setup as shown

Instructions:

Sequence is as follows:

1. A plays into B who has check to the side as shown above, B receives and plays into C who sets it back for B to have a strike on goal. Rotation A-B-C-A

2. As soon as 1st group strikes on goal, middle group goes on a 1v1 breakaway against the goalkeeper

3.As soon as 2nd group goes the 1st sequence is replicated with B checking in the opposite direction as 1st group.

Players rotate within their groups, after set period of time groups will rotate

Coaching Points:

Head up to observe GK position

Shot Selection based upon GK Position

Movement to support underneath to be able to play a 1st time shot at goal

Teams set inside of the grid in a 2-2 formation

1 attacker and 1 defender in end zone

Instructions:

**All players on on 2 touch maximum**

Team can only score once the ball has been played into the high target. 1 attacker allowed in the scoring zone once the ball has been played into the area.

Coaching Points:

-Mentality- Look to immediately play into the high target (9)

-Support- Visual cues to begin to make supporting runs underneath the #9, by ideally the 7, 10 &11

-Width-

-Patience when penetration is not an option

Progressions:

P-Add a trailing defender

P:Allow 2 attackers and 1 trailing defenders into the area

R: If need to show support option limit #9 to 1 touch
