4 mini goals/gates

10-16 Players per group

Implementation

6 attackers vs 6 defenders

Attackers must dribble the ball into the circle to score a point

Attackers can also complete 7 consecutive passes to score a point

When defenders gain possession, they must counter on one of the 4 mini goals/gates to score

Switch roles of teams after set period of time

Progression

Defending team must score within 8 seconds (time limit). When defending team scores 3 goals, roles of teams are reversed.

Passing & Receiving

Organization - 4v4+1

- X's and O's compete against each other in a game of keep-away with a neutral player (N) playing for the team in possession.

A goal is scored each time a ball is played (passed to) by the attacking team through the neutral player.

The defending teams scores a goal by winning the ball and dribbling outside of the grid.

Progression(s)

- Add a second neutral player

- Take neutral player out and play 4v4

Key Factors:

- Look to beat a player

- Try not to become predictable

- Maintain possession

- Shield the ball from opponent

- Draw opposition into play
