Organization/Rules: Participants start by just dribbling the ball in the marked field freely for couple of minutes, when a coach call any number that is one each side of the pitch, the players have to run in that cone and continue dribbling, the players can do different exercises.
Next, give the players team names, in 2 or in a group of 3, when a coach calls the team name and the number, the team has to dribble across the line as soon as possible,
Possible Progressions/Variations:
Continue playing, when a coach calls the team name and the number, the team has to dribble across the line as soon as possible,All the players turn into trees( arms out wide as branches), which players who are dribbling the ball may not touch. if you touch a tree or a branch, you cannot score .
NOTE: don't tell them what raising arms means while they are playing
If the players manage to leave the playing field without touching the other players, he/she must run to the cone from where he may shoot a goal. The other players carry on dribbling in the field and the game continues.
Sample Discussion Questions: What do you think raising arms means in the game?. Why do you think we should protect our nature? How did you feel when you ran to the side of the pitch and all over sudden even body in the pitch raised there arms?
