Organization:
1. 20 x 10 Yard A rea setup as shown
2. Defenders starts with the ball

4. 2 defenders, 1 pressures the 2nd covers
Instructions:
1. The activity starts with the defender passing the ballinto one ofthe tw o attackers
2. The defender is permitted to close the attacking player down on their firs ttouch
3. The attacking player must attempt to penetrate the end line
4. After each attempt the attacking players joins the nex tline and the defender re-starts the activity from the center
5. Points are awarded for a successful dribble or tackle
6. Rotate players after a set time limt
Coaching Points:
1. Angle and speed of approach.
2. Body Position should be sideways on and low to the ground.
3. Be patient
4. Correctoption to block or poke.
5. 2nd defender covering the 1st defender and staying patient
Progressions:
1. P – Allow 2nd attacker to supportthe ballfrom behind.
2. R – Reduce the closing distance for the defender

Instructions:
1. The ballis positioned atthe centre ofthe area
2. Players take itin turns to close the ball down
3. Second player behind workds as the cover defender>turns to the defender closing to the ball(pressure)

the nextperson in the group sets off
