1-2, dribbling down the line, crossing and finishing
Player A plays 1-2 with player B. Player A dribbles ball up the line before crossing in for player 1 or 2 to finish on goal. Coach calls 1 or 2 and that player moves into box to receive pass and shoot
Use both sides of pitch
Progressions - Player A to take throw-in instead of passing, add defenders (D)
CP's - speed of 1-2, player awareness of where team mate is in the box. 1 touch, 1st time shot
Arrival: Continuous 1v1s (15 mins)
1v1
• P1 (attacker) drives into box and aims to dribble past P2 (defender) and cross red cone line.
• Defender aims to gain possession and dribble over blue cone line
• If defender is successful, they join the attackers and the attacker becomes the new defender
• Any other outcome and the attacker rejoins for another go
• Next attacker goes immediately the ball exits the square (doesn't wait for Def to be ready)
Smaller square gives the advantage to the defender
