Organization:
1. 20x20 area set up as shown
2. One ball per player
3. Separate players into two groups
4. One group per side of the field
Instructions:
1. The first player in line will dribble forward to the gate with their right foot.
2. When the player passes through the gate, the defender from the opposing team tries to win the ball.
3. If the attacking player passes the ball through the gate, point for their team.
4. If the defender can win the ball and place a foot on it, their team wins the point.
Coaching Points:
Passing - Push (Inside)
1. Angle of approach – center
2. Supporting foot is next to the ball pointed at target
3. Head up observe your target
4. Contact ball - middle
5. Contact foot - inside
6. Ankle locked with toe pointed up
7. Follow through towards target with striking foot remaining open throughout
8. Body weight over the ball
Developments: (Progressions/Regressions)
1. Add a counter goal for the defender to score in if the ball is one.
2. Take away the gate and add a goal.

Activity 1 (15 mins)
Organization:
1. 20x20 area set up as shown
2. One ball per player
3. Separate players into two groups
4. One group per side of the field
Instructions:
1. The first player in line will dribble forward to the gate with their right foot.
2. When the player passes through the gate, the player has two touches then tries to pass the ball through the gate.
3. Once the ball has been passed, the next player in line can begin.
