Organization:-open area
-cones are setup in a triangle 5 by 5 by 5
-2 players( 1 attacker, 1 defender)
-1 ball per group
Instructions: 1. Attacking players start with the ball and attempts to dribble with ball through the triangle.
2. The defending player attempts to defend the triangle, deny penetration and win the ball.
3. Attacking player has 5 tries and then players switch roles.
Coaching Points:-commit defender
-play at speed
-specific technique(scissors/double scissors)
-attack front foot of defenders
Visual Cues:-distance & positioning of defender
-attacker scores or defender wins the ball
-awareness of space
Progressions:P-allow defending player to score
R-increase space of triangle

Organization:-40 by 25 area
-6 players(2 teams of 3)
-1 ball(additional on the outside)
Instructions: 1.The game always starts with a pass from GK.
2. The player that receives the ball, plays 1 v 1 with their opponnent to goal.
3. The other two players remain inactive until the game restarts.
4. If the ball leaves the area, the game is restarted with the opposition GK.
5. The GK should look to pass to the best placed forward.
Coaching Points:-maintain depth
-check away
-receive sideways on
-play at speed
-know when to hold, when to turn, when to shoot
Visual Cues:-position on the field
-defender's distance to attacker
-angle of pass from GK
-spatial awareness
Progressions:P-2 v 2 so players can combine
R-allow attacker one touch before defender can tackle

Organization: -four teams of 3
-two 20 by 20 areas
-1 ball per gorup(additional on the outside)
-team 1: Teddy, Katt, Charlotte team 2: ellie, bettina, kennedy team 3: lexi, caroline, kate, leah team 4: liz, cha cha, olivia
Instructions: 1. Teams play small sided games.
2. If ball goes out of play, play is restarted with kick-in.
3. If goal is scored, play is restarted with kick in from opposing team.
4. Normal game rules apply
5. Play for a set time then rotate teams.

Instructions: 1. Attacking players dribble from the top of the area to the bottom.
2. The defending player moves sideways on defensive position as they move back, but do not attempt to win the ball.
3. The defending player must always stay ahead of the ball.
4. The defending player must change their body shape as the attacking player moves the ball.
5. Once the players reach the bottom of the area they switch roles and repeat in the opposite direction.
Coaching Points:-attack front foot of defenders
-play at speed
-use feints/fakes to get defender to switch their stance

-reach the bottom or top of the area
