Organization: 5 v 2 + 3. Grid is 25 x 30, cut in half. Poles are between 10 and 15 yards apart centered at the mid-line. 4 Balls with coach for re-entry at mid-line, can be from both sides.
Instructions: The 5 Red look to possess the ball against the 2 Blue. Start with 3 touch max. Team gets 1 point for every 5 consecutive passes. If the 2 defenders intercept the ball they can pass it through the wide flags to their teammates on the other side. The defenders have unlimited touches, and passes must be no higher than knee hight. The 2 Blue players then enter their grid while 2 red follow so play continues with 5 Blue playing keepaway from 2 Red.
Coach restarts play with a new ball if ball goes out of bounds or player takes too many touches.
Coaching Points:
For the attacking players: Good spacing and quickly move off the ball to support your teammate with the ball.
Quick 1 and 2 touch combinations to maintain possession and switch field.
Proper weight of the pass to reach intended teammate
When losing/winning the ball, quickly move to provide options or win the ball back
Progressions:
P1: 2 touch only
P2: Attackers must string 6 or 7 passes before taking a shot on goal.
P3: Make it 5v3, 5v4

Organization:
2- 25 x 35 yard fields one in blue cons one in red.
Instructions:
-Players play a world cup tournament each team selecting their country.
Scoring is as follows(For every member of a given team)----
3 poins for a win
2 points for a tie
1 point for a loss

Instructions:
1.The game is called ‘Lightning Soccer’
2.One player starts in the goal
3.The first player in line dribbles out and shoots their ball before reaching the line of cones
4.As soon as they shoot they instantly run into the goal to become the next goalkeeper
5.The next player can go as soon as the shot is taken
6.If the shooter scores they are safe – no matter if the next player scores
7.If the shooter misses they must save the next shot to stay in the game (or if the shot goes wide/over)
8.If the shooter misses and the next person scores they are out of the game and become ball collectors
9.Last player in the game is the winner
Coaching Points:
1.Head up to observe the position of the goalkeeper
2.Head down at point of contact
3.Body weight forward, chest down
4.Ankle locked, toe down
5.Chip the new goalkeeper if they are slow to take up their position
Progression:
1.P – Players must shoot from outside the penalty area
2.R – Allow player three lives before they are out
