Objective:
Attacking play to break lines of opponent
Setup:
Field is 60 x 30 yards, divided evenly into 3 zones, 12 v 6, 6 v 3 in zone 1, a 4 v 3 in zone 2, and 2 v 0 in zone 3
Organization:
Attacking team starts with possession in zone 1
Complete a set number of passes [4 - 6] and then transfer the ball into zone 2.
In zone 2, set number of players [1 - 2] from zone 1 can join to increase the numbers up, and look to combine to play and get the ball into zone 3
In zone 3, if attackers maintains possession, the 4 attackers in zone 2 transfer to zone 3, and the 3 defenders from zone 2 drop into zone 3 to defend, and will again form a 6 v 3 in zone 3
4 attacking players from zone 1 will drop into zone 2, along with the 3 defenders in zone 1 to make a 4 v 3 in zone 2
Start the exercise from the other side, looking to work from zone 3 to zone 2 to zone 1.
Progressions:
[1] restrict touches
[2] get a point by working the ball to a target on the endline with 1 touch pass
[3] add goals to endlines
[4] open up to free play with only restriction is you cannot skip a zone to attack
Points:
passing and receiving, angles of support, getting into windows, movement off the ball, timing of runs and passes, awareness, speed of play.

Setup:
Half field, 1 big goal, 2 small goals, 10 soccer balls
Organization:
Restarts begin from fullbacks (Blue)
Blue looks to score on the big goal
Red looks to score on the 2 small goals (6 Seconds to score)
9v9 (1-4-4 vs 3-2-3-1)
Points:
Communication: collective decision making, spacing, pressure, cover, shift
Recognize visual cues when to press, delay, drop, absorb
Technical- correct approach and body shape on defending
Tactical- shape in defense: depth, compactness, balance

Organization:
Restarts begin from the GK (Blue)
Blue to score on the big goal
Red to score on the opposite goal (6 seconds to score)
Restraining line (Red Cone)
Confrontation line (Half line)
10v11 (1-4-3-3 vs 1-3-3-3)
Points:

Organization:
#6 or #8 Attackers start with ball and pass into a teammate
Attackers score on the goal
Defenders dribble across the half line for a score
Attackers always retart game
10 v 8 (1-4-2-3 vs 2-3-3)
Points:
•Force other team out wide allow them to cross so we can exploit their wings on the counter attack
•Once we gain possession, can we look to open up to the field and break quickly
•If ball is won by field player, attempt play a forward pass
•If ball is won by GK, can we look to throw the ball into space of attacker
•Option 1: Play #11 or #7
•Option 2: Play #9
•Option 3: Play #3 or #2
•Once ball is played to an attack , how can we support the ball carrier
•Look to finish the finish the attack within 5 seconds

Points:

Attacking 1: Break lines of opponent (20 mins)
Objective:
Attacking play to break lines of opponent
Set Up:
50 x 30 area, 5 yard neutral zone in the middle of the field, 3 equal teams
Activity:
One team will start in each zone, and the ball will be played into one of the end zones. The team in the middle will send 4 defenders to make it a 6 v 4. The possession team is trying to make 3 passes then play a ball on the ground to the team on the other side and the defending team is trying to press to win back possession. If a team turns the ball over, they then become the defensive group and press immediately.
Progressions:
[a] can play the ball in the air to the other side
[b] must play ball on ground through 3 smaller goals in the central zone
[c] every 3 passes, the defending team can send in another player
Points: speed of play, awareness, movement and support off the ball, techniques of receiving the ball properly, playing the ball forward when possible, support of players in forward positions
