Activity
Play starts with coach passing into defender - who receives and passes into one of the attackers - who then play 2v1 to goal. If defender wins ball can counter-attack the two min-nets. Rotate defenders regularly.

Activity
-Technical Passing boxes: players pass, move, and combine on a variety of passing and receiving exercises. Go in both directions to work both feet.
Progressions/Variations:
1. Dribbling from one corner to the next (lots of touches, variety of moves)
2. 2 touch pass/receive around outside of box, open body/pass to back foot
3. Short dribble with pass inside for team mate to move onto - can they get it to one touch?
4. Pass with give and go combination - can they get it to one touch?
Coaching Points
-Good first touch - can it set up your pass?
-Good passing - accurate (to feet) well weighted (into space)
-Good body position - open to the game, allows for first touch into space
-Head up - scan the area - space, team mates, opponents
-Quick Tempo - play at game speed and intensity
-Communication - talking, body shape, signals, eye contact
