Set Up: 20x20y grid, with 5 yard finishing zone at end. Split group into 2 even groups.
Description:
Purple Defender starts with the ball and dribbles across the field towards gate on opposite side, when the cross in front of blue attacker they stop the ball (leave it for blue attacker), then run through gate on opposite side. After they run through the gate they defender attacker. The blue attacker, when the ball is left in front of them attack two small goals, they must be in the 5 yard finishing zone to score. Once the attack is over then the players switch lines and roles. Atlernate sides the defenders come from to vary sides where pressure comes from. Keep score.

2. Dribble with inside or outside of foot depending on where defender is.
3. Recognizes when to shoot
4. Moves to change direction and move to beat players.

Set Up: 20Lx15W y grids with smaller goals. Have 2 grids set up for larger numbers so there is no long lines.
Description: 2v2 purple team looks to attack, if the blue team wins the ball they look to counter attack quickly the other way. Ball always starts with the attacking team, after time limit switch roles. When the ball goes out of bounds 2 new teams come on. When a team scores they can stay on the field and defend the next 2 attackers coming on.

Description: Ball starts with the keeper with 3 attackers vs 2 defenders, when they recover the ball then they counter attack the opposite goal. Ball starts from the GK, switch roles after a time limit. Encourage players to attack at pace, recognize numbers up situation, decision to dribble, shoot, or pass.

Description: 4v4 or 5v5 game with GK's. Encourage players to attack at pace when they win the ball to create numbers up situation. Descision when to dribble, shoot, or pass.

Technical Dribbling Warm-up
Go through the 6 coerver moves, then add in a Cruyff turn, step over, scrissor, and Maradona moves.
Have players dribble with just right foot using all surfaces (inside, outside, sole), then just left foot.
Talk about the differnce between moves to beat players; (Maradona, Drop in the shoulder, Scissor, step over) and moves to get away from players; (pull back, cruyff turn, hook turn)
