Set up
6 cones... and two lines
width between 15 yards across
then 15 yards long x 2
One player on cones B and C
Three/four players on cones A and D
Balls at A and D
Runs for 5/6 mins.
Build
Ball played by A and D into B and C
B drops short and lays ball of to A
A steps forward and plays crossfield pass to D
B turns sharply and makes diagonal run to D
Player always follows pass - 3/4 pace (not a jog)
Two or three balls in drill will work, which increases tempo

B drops short and lays ball of to A
A steps forward and plays crossfield pass to D

D then lays off a short pass for 1:2 from B who has made diagonal run
Same is happening concurrently going other way
Player always follows pass - 3/4 pace (not a jog)
Two or three balls in drill will work, which increases tempo
Build 1 (5 mins)
Set up

B steps away from cone to make open body angle
Takes one touch and passes ball into next player at D
Player D has done same into C at same time
Player always follows pass - 3/4 pace (not a jog)
