Intervals:
3 min work + 1 min rest x 4 reps = 16 min
Setup:
20x40 with center line (20x20 in each half)
2 teams
GK's as endline targets
Activity:
Team in possession keeps possession in one half and attempts to play into feet of opposite target.
Team in possession scores by moving ball from target to target and back.
Once switch is made, everyone transfers over to other zone to create overload and try to switch back.
Coaching Points:
+ Constant support around ball (as many passing lanes as possible)
+ Do the basics: Face the way you want to play, receive far foot, play in 2-touch.
+ After switch, make sure player on ball has options left, right and split (in that order)

Intervals:
3 min work + 1 min rest x 5 reps = 20 min
Setup:
8v8
Half field
1-4-3-0 vs. 0-3-2-3
Target players near half line.
Activity:
Blue team scores in big goal --> 3 points.
White team scores by playing into target --> 1 point.
When targets receive ball, play square to another target and then into team attacking big goal.
When team attacking big goal wins the ball, they have 5 seconds to score (play direct since down 3 players).
Coaching Points:
+ Use of Out-In-Out to break defensive lines
+ Use of Up-Back-Through to break lines
+ 3 seconds of fury when losing the ball
+ All 8 players recovering to defend if losing the ball

Setup:
2 teams lined up as shown (3 lines of players)
44x50 field
Activity:
Ball always starts from line near goal (alternate team starting play each time).
Player on ball can play in another teammate from outside up to a max of 5.
Each time an attacker is played in a defender opposite that player can enter so it's always even numbers (1v1->2v2->3v3->etc.)
When your team scores you get as many points as attackers on the field.
First team to 21 wins. If you go over 21 you must go back to 15.
Coaching Points:
~ Winning individual duels - 1v1s
~ Create defensive shape as players are added (building to back 4 plus #6)
~ Using the ball to move the defense + Movement off the ball
