- Change of direction needs a quick change of speed
- Scan to find space tomove into

Organisation
Players with a ball each dribbling inside the area at a game realistic speed performing each skill move for 2 minutes each.

Coaching points
- Timeing of movement - move as the ball is moving? Move on players first touch?
- Open body shape to receive and be able to play to and from all sides
- Movement to create space for the player on the ball to move into
- Pass to the back foot- gives option for player to turn or bounce the ball back, depending on pressure
Organisation
- 3v1 rondo
- Players need tomove to create passing lines to support the player on the ball
- If you lose possession of the ball/play the ball out of bounds then you become the defender
- Players can also dribble through the square to a open side of the square
- 10 passes = 1 goal

- Angles and distance to recieve
- Body shape to see as much of the pitch as you can
- First touch to set you for your next action
- Can you receive behind the defenders
- Quick check to create individual space for yourself
Defending
- Cut out passing lines to attacking players
- Stay compact
- Close down the spaceof the player on the ball- pressure
- Triggers to tackle- bad touch, slow pass, player is on weaker foot
Organisation
- 5v5
- Each team has 3 players in the central zone and 2 support player in the outside zone
- When receiving a pass, the outside players have two options:
1. Pass back into the central area
2. Dribble into the central area and change places with a player from the middle zone

- Make the pitch big- width and length
- Can you play forward centrally? Can you play forward into the wide areas? if not support to change the point of attack
- Movement to receive and timeing of movement
- Body shape to receive
- Can you disguise your pass?
Defending
- Protect the middle
- Stay compact
- Move together
- Closest player press the ball
- Tackling trigger- Bad touch, slow pass, negative touch, close to sideline/byline, players on weaker foot
Organisation
- 4v4+1/5v5+1
- Team out of possession are not allowed in the team in possessions support zone
- No goalkeepers but you can score until you enter the other teams support zone
