Organization:
1. 30 x 30 area set up as shown
2. 10 Players - each given a number (5 v 5)
3. 2 Mini Goals in middle as shown
4. 1 Ball (additional with coach)
Instructions:
1. Players are given a number & spread around the outside of the area (alternate color)
2. Coach acts as a server & call out number(s) - as number is called pass is played into area at random
3. Attackers with that number race into area to win ball & aim to score in either mini goal
4. Remaining players follow game & help to keep ball in play
5. If goal is scored or ball goes out of play attackers must return to spot
Coaching Points:
1. Reaction & Anticipation. Gett the ball qucky & secure possession
2. Awareness of Space & Surronding. Which goalis best to attack?
3. Connection & communication between teammates
4. Speed of play
5. Combinations & skill moves to deceive defender(s)
Progressions:
P - Attacker(s) must make a wall pass with team mate on the outside before scoring
P - Coach calls more then one number e.g. "2&3 (2v2)
P - Team mate on outside used for wall pass can enter to support attacker & create overload (2v1/3v2 etc)

Organization:
- 15 x 25 area set up as shown (multiply as needed)
- 10/12 Players -Two groups of 5/6 set up as shown
- One mini goal at end line
- 1 Ball per group (additional on outside)
Instructions:
- Activity begins at line (A) with two players playing square pass
- As pass is played player on line (B) begins movement to receive the ball
- As pass is played player at line (C) enters the area & becomes a Defender
- Players now play 1v1. Attacker aims to score in mini goal
- If Defender wins the ball they aim to run ball over oppsite endline
- Play until goal is scored or ball leaves playing area
- After each attack Players move up the line (A to B, B to C & C to A)
Coaching Points:
- Speed & quality of pass
- Movement to receive. Work away opposite to the ball
- Snapshot: check shoulder & take picture of whats behind as you receive the ball
- Turn quickly to engage & attack the defender. Get them on back foot!
- Attack at speed, be positive & look to finish!
- Execution & timing of skill, dribbles & stop-start moves to unbalance defender
Progressions:
P - Defender can enter area on first square pass. Attacker must check pressure/position
P - If Defender wins the ball another Attacer canenter from line (A) to create 2v1 transition

Organization:
- Half field setup as shown
- 13 players (3 attackers, 2 defenders & 1 keeper each play)
- Final 1/3 line marked with cones as shown
- 1 ball (additional on outside)
Instructions:
- Play starts with a ball from goalkeeper to the attackers
- As ball is played 2 defenders run out & face attackers - defenders not allowed past 1/3 line
- Attackers aim to keep possession, combine & enter final 1/3 to score past Defenders
- If Defenders win the ball they can break out & score in mini goals
- Play ends when goal is scored or ball goes out of play
- Goalkeeper restarts the game with pass to attackers. Activity repeats.
Coaching Points:
- Connection & communication between team mates
- Make the field as big as possible - stretch the defenders - circulate possession
- Attack at speed. Move the ball quickly
- Combinations to deceive defenders (overlaps? wall pass?)
- Awarness of Space & Surroundings. Which space to exploit?
- Shooting opportunities...don't wait, go for goal! End product!
Progressions:
P - Defenders are allowed out of final 1/3 to defend & press high
P - Attackers have a time limit to score/shoot once they enter final 1/3

Organization:

2. 3 x playing zones (A, B & C) marked as shown
3. 11 players (5 attackers & 5 defenders)
4. 2 mini goals in zone C
Instructions:
- Game starts in Zone A with teams playing 3v3+1 keep ball. Attackers can use neutral player.
- After 4 passes Attackers aim to play pass into target player in either Zone B or C
- Pass must be supported to create 2v1 breakaway
- ZONE B: Target player who receives can link up with team mate & aim to score past keeper
- ZONE C: Target player who receives can link up with team mate & aim to score in eith mini goal
- Target player who doesnt receive becomes a defender & aims to win ball back & dribble/play back to team mate in Zone A.
- After set time rotate target players

- Connection & communication between team mates

- 14 players (6 Attackers, 6 Defender, 1 Goalkeeper & 1 Neutral players)
- 2 gates & half way line marked as shown

Instructions:
- Teams are split into two groups & play 3v3 in each half of field
- Attackers aim to keep possession, combine & transfer ball into attacking half to score
- Attackers can use Neutral player to create 3v3+1 overload
- Neutral player can move across both zones
- Attackers can only transfer ball across half by either & combination across line (shown) or dribble through wide gates (flags)
- Attacker who combines/dribbles across the line stays in attacking half to create a 4v3+1
- One team aims to score in big goal while other team aim to score into mini goals
- Once goal is scored or ball goes out of play, players must return to their halfs
- After set time teams switch ends

Organization:

Instructions:
- Attacking players throw the ball to one another and try to work the ball into the endzone for a point.
- If Defenders steal the ball they attack the opposite end zone.
- Attackers must make a run into the end zone & catch ball to score - defenders not allowed into end zone
- Players cannot run with the ball once they have caught it.
- If players drops the catch possession is given to the other team
Coaching Points:
- Movement without the ball. Away from team mate into space
- Check space & surroundings as you move. Can you receive the ball? Are you in a passing line?
- Connection and communication with teammates
- Speed of play
- Stretch opposition. Circulate the ball
- Be positive in possession
Progressions:
P - Defenders can now track attacker into end zone
P - 3 second rule in possession
P - Not allowed to pass the ball backwards
P - Same game but ball is not allowed above head height.
