For 5 minutes players will practice a type of turn.
Split group into 2 teams before you start.
When teaching the turn, demonstrate then let the players try it. Stop after around a minute and correct group as a whole for around 20 - 30 seconds then let them practice again. Repeat this until the 5 mins is up
After this 5 minutes they will then play a small sided game to Pugg Goals and play a scrimmage.
Every time they score they get 1 goal, they are also awarded a goal for trying the skill they have just previously learnt.

Blue Plays long into Yellow (1)then Checks in to recieve pass. (2)
As ball is passed in Blue must turn (3)and play back to blue (4)
As Blue does this, Yellow must check to a different gap (5) and get ready to Recieve a pass and repeat the sequence.
Cones are to mark as defenders so players must check in front and take touches away from them.
Turn 1. Outside of the foot. Body shape side on to protect the ball then angle foot to push ball outside of body line to the side.
Turn 2. Inside of the foot. As ball is played in, lock ankle and snap the ball back across the body line at a diagonal angle to lead into playing a quick pass.
Turn 3. Half turn. Check all the way into the ball, check shoulder to see if there is any pressure and then pivot to recieve ball so you are facing way you came from.
B
Ball is played into middle. Blue must try win ball and dribble over Yellow end line.
Yellow must try and turn away from blue and play to PUGGs
Yellow can use server as a wall if needed.

Player Must run through gate, do a turn to back through first gate, then accelerate through 2nd gate before opposing player to win a point.
Progress to using specific turns (Cruyff, Step over L turn)
Play for 4 rounds (Any type of turn first, the teach the Cryuff, Then the step over and finally the L turn. 2 Minutes as a relay - Points per team losing team does a turning forfeit.
B 1 v 1 back to player. How can we now turn away from a player.
Soon as ball is played in yellow can now pressure.
Score a point by dribbling over end line.

A. Ball gets fed in from one side and player turns to strike the balll at goal.
Player who passes ball in follows pass then goes in the opposite direction.
B. Now ball is played in and defender is allowed to add pressure.
Type of turn, type of finish - do we finish early or do we have to go 1 v 1?
