Organization:
4 Cones on each side of the half
All balls start at cone 1
Extra players should be in line behind cone 1 with a ball
Instructions:
Pass in sequential order and follow pass
After shot, grab ball and run back through the middle to get back in line at cone 1
You may go as soon as the person at cone 3 is ready
Coaching Points:
When and when not to use lofted pass
Pass between 1+2 is not appropriate distance for lofted pass
Pass between 2+3 is appropriate distance. Ball travels faster in air, and is harder to defend. Try to lead player so that prep touch and cross are faster
Pass between 3+4 is Appropriate distance. Ball travels faster in air, and is harder to defend. Try to lead striker so that finishing is easier. Also mention possibility of own goal or corner.
