This is a 30-35 minute General Training Session on the principles of Switching Play in possession.Finding the right space with the extra men in possession, and then using different options in Switching Play to the opposite side of the area of play. Session can be made larger or smaller dependant on greater/lesser numbers of players available.

Key Factors:
The session is setup as a 4v4, but the aim is to be made in to a 9v4 when the Floater/Outside Players are utilised.
This segment will be started with;
- Unlimited Touches for all players in possesion.
- 2 Touches for Outside Players & Floater
If Defensive Team wins possession, they clear the ball & play is restarted again through the Coach.
The main aim of the session is to keep possession and try to find openings
Red Team keep possesion from the Blue Team, while using the Floater & Outside Players for numerical advantage. If available, upon receiving the ball back off of an Outside Player look to switch the play, either through the Floater to the opposite side, or direct to an opposite Outside Player.
Organisation:
In this segment of the session, each team will have 5 minutes in each position of the session.
Attacking/Defending/Outside Players
If the grasp of the session has been taken on board, add the addition of Limited Touches

Key Factors:
In this segment of the session, both teams in the middle will now become the Attacking Team once they gain possesion. We will also add in a limit of 3 touches to players in possession and add in a scoring aspect to increase the intensity and competitive nature from all teams.
Scoring Option 1: Upon receiving the ball from the Outside Players, look to switch the ball directly to the opposite Outside Player where if a teammate receives the ball, the team will score 1point.

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Key Factors:
Scoring Option 2:
Playing the ball through the Floater to an Attacking Player then directly out to an opposite Outside Player and back to an teammate will also score 1 point.
Scoring Option 3:
To maintain intensity from the Defending Team, 10 passes will also be an option to score 1 point.
Teams will change around on either 3 Mins or 5pts, whichever comes first.
Try to keep the session going as fluently as possible.
