6 cones to set up grid
Instructions:
1) A has the ball, B triggers by check for the ball. B passes to D and applies slight pressure. D then combines with C for a Give and Go. C play ball behind defender. A dribbles to back of the line or restarts depending on group number
2) Rotation A-B, B-C,C-D, D-A
Coaching Points:
-Reading Space between attacker and defender. Space Behind defeneder?
-Supporting angle to receive for the Give and go.
- Visual Cues (change of speed, hand gesture, vocal)
Progressions:
1) Live 2v1 Same set up, now B applies full pressure. Score a point by getting passed the first zone which is indicated by the red cone in the middle.
2) Live 2v2 Same set up, B applies full pressure, A comes to defender the second zone.
3) Live 2v2 on Attackers first touch. B and A can defender either Zone.
