Organization: Set up as shown
Instructions: A takes touch to either side and then passes to B, B checks away and goes to oppesite cone and receives ball on back foot. B then passes ball to C who then dribbles back to A. Follow passes. A becomes B, B becomes C, C becomes A
Coaching Points:
-Quality of pass
-Receive the ball on the back foot
-Body Positioning
-Quality of first touch can we break the back line
-Check our shoulder
(Pass ball first step runner makes to cone)
Progressions:
Add defender in a passive matter.
Defender only shadows but does not attempt to take away

Organization:Set Up as before, add Passive defender
Instructions: A takes touch to either side, Passive defender blocks passing lane, B looks to open up and drop into space to recieve and turn and plays to C, C then looks to beat defender with a scissor or move, defender is still passive and can't steal the ball.

-On our toes to receive ball

Notes:
When do we move? When passer signals move to play.
When can we recieve to turn, when we have that space behind to drop in.
Why do we move? To make defendeing us harder, also to open passing lanes.

Organization:Same as previous
Instructions: Defender is now live, Player A will attempt to pass to B(while pressured from defender) A,B can either compine to make a pass to C or B can take on defender with back foot turn to play to C. B must touch ball before a pass to C is attempted. Every succesful pass to C = 1 point.
Coaching Points:
-Quality of pass
-Create as much space between you and the defender
-Check shoulder
-Can we draw the defender out wide to create a passing lane
-Quality of first touch
Notes:
When do we move? When passer signals move to play.
Why do we want to move? (to create space) also to open passing lanes
When do we want to receive...on the move.
When we can't Penetrate, what is our option? Decision Making:
When we receive on back foot Vs. front foot. To hold possession or penetrate?
Progressions:
Introduce 2nd option...Possession. (Can A and B connect to keep possesion to open passing Lane)

Instructions:
Goal of the game i to get the ball from one target player to the other, one players from your team must touch the ball for point to count. Target players can not be challanges however they are only allowed 2 touches. Target players also can move up and down goal line but not step on field.
First to 3 or 4 minute games, winner stays on

Instructions:Handball rules. White team looks to get ball to outside white player for point, Blue looks to do the same for their side. After a set amount of time Switch players on outside.
