Description :
> 6v3.
> 4 wall players, 1 zone player, 1 neutral player.
> 3 defenders.
> objective for players is to move ball around the field, stretching the defenders & making those gaps in order for us to find the zone player. Once zone player receives the ball, they play it to another wall player & game continues.
> defenders cannot tackle the wall players but they can intercept the passes to gain a point.
> neutral player cannot play ball to zone player, they are used as a wall pass to drag defenders out of position & help create that gap.
> work for 4 minutes then rotate.
Progression :
> defenders can now keep possession themselves when they steal the ball back. They must look to complete 5 passes but only the neutral player can stop them. Wall players & zone players must stay.
Coaching Points :
> move from side to side in our zones to create passing angles for teammates.
> demand the ball in any area.
> on our toes expecting the ball which will lead to things being done quickly & first time.
> take a risk but do not force the ball.
> disguise our passes with body movement.
> weight of pass into players feet.

Description :
> 9v9.
> 6 middle players, 2 target players, 1 GK.
> 80x45, 20 yards goal scoring zone, 40 yards possession zone.
> 9v9 Conditioned Game.
> players must look to keep possession until the opportunity to break the defensive line becomes available & can get in behind opposition.
> players must look to pass ball into one of the target players placed beside the goal who will then cut the ball back into the path of a player who times their run into the zone to finish.
> everything inside goal zone MUST be 1st touch.
> defender from team in possession can enter zone to receive ball from GK & play out.
> work for 3 minutes then rotate players.
Progression :
> A defender can now enter the zone with attacking player to apply more pressure & try to win the ball back, the attacker can now take more than 1 touch. Target players can be used as a pass if needed but still only have 1 touch to play. If defender wins ball back, they can play out.
Coaching Points :
> movement off player to create that space to receive the ball.
> communication to ask for ball & where we want it.
> checking & timing our runs to get the ball.
> weight of pass either into feet or space.
> controlled first touch or first time pass.
