Open receive (15 mins)

Essence: Open Receive (forehand and backhand) and shoot

Structure:

A passes to B

B passes back to A

B leads with a hook shaped run

A passes to B on the run

B open receives and shoots

Rotation: A to B to A

Pointers:

1. two touch hockey

2. low body position while passing

3. Indicate where you want to receive the ball when leading

4. stop ball away from feet when open receiving

Variations:

Add a flip or pop after open receive.

Change pass A to B to a flip or hatch ball down the line
