Instructions:
Half players with a ball in the grid & half on the
outside. Perform A-D Combinations.
Perform A, B for 1 min/team – 1 minute Break Perform C, D for 1 min/team – 1 minutes Break
Coaching Points:

2) Technique of receiving: Move feet/body behind the ball, strong/locked ankle collect ball, with first touch in direction you want to attack, hips open to the field so player can go multiple directions

Progressions:
Wall pass and overlap from a player to your left or right (only 1-2 players start with the ball)

Organization:
2 groups of up to 6 players at A & C 15 to 20 yrds apart facing each other.
Wall Passers at B & D 20 yards apart.
Instructions:
Players at the head of A & C lines pass the ball to their left wall passers at B & D and move to take the return pass from B & D in the middle of the area and return the ball to the next palyers in line at A & C.
Once they complete the Give and Go and Give the move to the ends of the opposite lines respectively.
Change the wall passers so everyone has a chance to learn the technique.
Coaching Points:
Allow players 2 touches at the start and one touch as they begin to master the pass and movement.
Start with 1 ball and then move 2 two if possible.

Set up 3 channels side-by-side / as shown above
Instructions:
Player A takes a touch to either side to begin the activity then plays to B. B opens up and finds C. On C's first touch A becomes a passive defender and applies pressure to C. C beats A by combining with B using a give and go
Rotation: A to B, B to C, C to A.
Coaching Points:
- Quality of check
- Communication
- Quality of pass
- Drive at defender's front foot
- Keep ball close, touch on every step
- Play late as possible with outside foot
- Direction and weight of return pass
- Quick movement to receive the ball back again
Progressions:
- Attacker can choose to scissor instead of give and go
- Defender (A) is now live and trys to win the ball. Play 2v1 game to endlines. Keep score.

same as before, but on a big goal (make as a competion between groups. 3 channels, designated defenders)

Instructions: Player A passes to player B then runs to join opposite group, Player B passes to Player C then runs to join that group, and the roation continues. 1 ball 2 touches maximum.
