Learning outcomes.
1. Switching the play through a central player (CB, CM).
2. Drawing out the opponent with small passes and then finding the correct time to switch the field.

Organization:
1. Groups of 6 players.
2. Two servers at outside cones each with a ball. Two players on central cone.
Instructions:
1. Center players check in on an angle, receive and play to opposite server.
2. Once the pass is played they follow the pass and are on the end cone. Players on the end go in the middle.
Coaching Points:
1. Check your shoulder before you receive.
2. Body shape open to receive and play forward.
3. P
4. Wait for server to have full control before checking in.
5. Server- play into feet to make center player turn with the ball.
6. Use two touches to switch.
Progressions:
1. Check in straight- Bump back to server- show wide- receive on the back foot and switch. (double pass)

Organization:
1. One ball per group of 4. Extras around.
2. One attacker central, one defender.
Instructions:
1. Center attacker checks away and checks back wide trying to lose the defender, receive turn and play to opposite player.
2. and each succesful swich- reset in the middle.
3. If defender wins the ball- switch rolls.
4. Defender always starts behind attacker- both players start behind center cone.
Coaching Points:
Center attacker
1. Create separation from defender by checking away sharp and quick. (use arm to create separtion)
2. Check soulder on the way in.
If pressure in lose- Receive on the back foot and open up.
If pressure is tight- Receive on the front foot and spin the defender.
3. Switch in as little amount of touches as possible.
Progressions:
1. Limit touches of attacker to switch play.
2. Allow center attacker to bump back to server if no option to turn is on- reset at center cone.

Organization:
1. Two 12x20 rectangles.
2. 4v2 in each rectangle.
3. Coach placed between areas with extra balls.
4. All restarts come from coach.
Instructions:
1. 4v2 in one rectangle.
2. 10 consecutive passes equals one point.
3. If play is broken up but stays in rectangle points restart to zero.
4. If defenders win the ball they try to play across to their 4 players in opposite rectangle.
5. Change defenders after a certain time. (3 minutes)
Coaching Points:
Four in possesion
1. Movement off the ball to keep play alive.
2. Play in one or two touches to keep defenders moving.
Four with out the ball
1. Stretch the space so the two defenders can't defend eveyone.
2. Ask for the ball if open.
3. Don't stand on the front line as there is no space to receive a switch.
Progressions:
1. Limit touches of the four in posession. (one or two touch)

Organization:
1. 6v6+1
2. Teams set up in a 3-1-1
3. Wide areas marked.
Instructions:
1. Play to goal.
2. For each time the ball is switched from one wide area to the next in a goal sequence it multiplies the worth of the goal. (ex. 3 switches followed by a goal in the same possession equals 3 points)
Coaching Points:
1. Take the easy points. If opponent is giving you the middle and taking away the switch then take the middle 1 point.
2. Try to draw the opponent out by playing small passes in one section of the field. Once they are drawn out switch the play.
3. Full backs can get up and down.
Progressions:
1. A goal scored with out ever going through and wide area is worth 3 points.
2. Limit touches.
Warm Up- 4v2 (10 mins)
Organization:
8x8 yard square
4v2 in each square
Extra balls outside.
Instructions:
1. One touch.
2. Split- the pair in the middle stay in again.
3. Succesful meg- player that got megged stays in again.
4. Ten passes in a row- pair stays in again.
Coaching Points:
1. Head up to see where you will play before you receive the ball.
2. On your toes ready to receive from anyone.
3. Restart as quick as possible.
