Organization: As shown. In groups of 4 (1 server, 1 attacker, 1 defender, and 1 player waiting to become server). One ball per group. Have spare around to ensure flow of practice.
Instructions: Activity starts with attacker checking as previously. Attacker lays initial pass off one touch back to server, spins to get behind defender and receives penetrating pass from teammate. Wide players still attacking coned channel. Central players attack penalty area. Switch roles. Server becomes attacker. Attacker becomes defender. Defender to back of server line. Rotate central and wide attacking to ensure players work on both scenarios.
Coaching Points: Arm out to feel defender and for balance. Drive defender back, away from the ball. Use of body and forearm. Connection with teammate (eye contact and hand gesture). Quick sharp, movement. Quality and timing of pass.

Instructions: Wide group on right side start with attacker checking to receive. Attacker can use either scenario (checking or wall pass + spin). Once wide player penetrates, central attackers and far side winger run on to receive cross. Next sequence starts from central player receiving and playing 1v1 to goal. Restart rotation on opposite wing. Rotate roles.
Coaching Points: Decision-making (attack 1v1 or use 2v1, open up or spin off). Communication (connection with teammate). Timing of movement. Timing and quality of pass).
Progressions: Defending team can attack counter goal upon winning possession.

Instructions: All groups working at once. Defenders are "touch tight" on attackers. Attackers start by checking away from ball, moving towards goal. Explode away from defender towards ball to receive. Wide players look to penetrate through coned channel. Central attackers look to penetrate into penalty area. Switch roles. Server becomes attacker. Attacker becomes defender. Defender to back of server line. Rotate central and wide attacking to ensure players work on both scenarios.
