Organization:
1. 20 x 15 yard area set up as show n
2. 4 players (2 A ttackers, 1 D efender, 1
Resting) set up as show n
3. Repeat in tw o other areas for squad of 1 2
4. 1 ball (A dditional around the outside)
Instructions:
1. D efending player passes in to either attacker to start the activity
2. O n the attacker’s first touch the defender becom es active and is perm itted to challenge for the ball
3. The tw o attackers m ust attem pt to beat the one defender w ith a pass or dribble
4. The ball m ust be stopped on the end line in order to score
5. Rotate players after set tim e interval
Coaching Points:
1. 1st attacker to com m it defender to the ball
2. 2nd attacker to offer support for com bination either to the side or behind
3. A ngle and distance of 2nd attacker
4. Play at speed

1. P – D efending player becom es active as soon as they have passed the ball

Instructions:
1. D efending players starts the activity w ith a diagonal pass to an attacking player betw een the m arkers
2. D efender then applies pressure
3. The tw o attackers attem pt to beat the defender to score on goal w ith either a dribble or com bination
4. If the defending player w ins the ball they attem pt to pass betw een the starting m arkers
5. The process is then repeated w ith a pass that should be m ade from the next defender in line at the opposite side of the goal
6. Rotate players after set tim e interval
Coaching Points:
1. 1st attacker to com m it defender to the ball
2. 2nd attacker to offer support for com bination either to the side or behind
3. 1st attacker uses 2nd attacker to com bine or as a decoy
4. Play at speed

Instructions:
1. Team s play 3v2
2. The team w ith three players starts w ith the ball and attem pts to score
3. If the ball is lost by the team of three, tw o players furthest aw ay from the ball m ust drop out to leave a 2v1
4. If the team of three shoots and the shot is saved then the shooter m ust stay and the other tw o m ust drop out again to create a 2v1
5. If the team of three scores they stay on and the gam e is restarted w ith their ow n goalkeeper against a new team of tw o
6. If the team of tw o score on a counter attack against the one they becom e the next team of three and the gam e restarts from their goalkeeper against a new team of tw o
7. If the ball goes out the gam e is restarted w ith a kick-in (no corners)
