6 cones, 3 lines, one passing player, one target player, one receiving player
Instructions:
Middle player checks, target player moves opposite side, middle player receives ball and plays 2 touches to end player. Passing player becomes receiving player, receiving player becomes target player.
Coaching Points:
1. Check at angle
2. Check shoulder as ball is passed
3. Take on back foot
4. Creation of triangle
5. Give and go or decoy
Progressions:
1. Target player dribbles at passing player (who becomes defender) and beats them with a scissors move (using receiving player as decoy)
2. Defender now puts on full pressure and it becomes a 1 vs 1 + 1 game with both players scoring by dribbling the ball over the end line
